Things just keep turning up, when you use Google stuff. Here’s something new that arrived today: a handy stats page describing your recent usage patterns of Google Reader.
Now I can, at a glance, tell exactly how sad I am. How many items read; when I read them (spikes at lunchtime, and at night); percentage read (I obsessively read everything, not availing myself of the “mark all as read” button); what I’m reading.
The Google Reader team have scored well here. I do like frivolous charts and stats. Goodness knows I generate enough of them at work myself to recognise fellow travellers when I see them.
Now I just need to work on reducing that suspicious looking spike of reading activity around morning tea time each day…
