Observed:

• rimed grass and filigreed cars in the orange glare of the sodium streetlamps
• dusted with icing sugar, or tiny diamonds
• on OK road, a seat in the gods to the Harbour’s theatre
• a glow in the east reflected in the mirror of the sea
