Back now, for a couple days at least, and it seems that there’s been a bit of a flap in the Apple world about some alarmingly easy to exploit vulnerabilities in MacOSX. I can’t be bothered explaining all the details here (partly because I don’t fully understand them, or indeed wish to at this point in time).

In these cases the best thing to do is to find some reasonably sensible advice. And it would seem that once again, John Gruber of Daring Fireball has written some. I feel much better already.
